| Made by Hedbergs Verkstäder, OSBY 1948-1958. First spelled "Mecanic", but changed later because of legal proceedings by Meccano Ltd, who claimed that the name was too like their own. #1-5 were in green boxes and #1a-6a in red. The special sets #1s, 2s, 3s and 5s were in blue. #6 and #7 were in wooden cases. The largest #7 is shown here. | |
